Frankly has no servers in the middle. Your records stay in your own iCloud, and every answer is generated by your own OpenAI, Gemini or Claude key. You're never locked in, and your family's information is never ours to see.
Getting a key is a little fiddly — sorry about that, and we wish we could smooth it away. We can't, because the key is what keeps Frankly running on your own AI, under your control, with nothing passing through us. It's a one-time setup, and you only need one for the whole family.
